Maidengrass, Japanese (Miscanthus sinensis)
Another bunchgrass at a larger scale, Miscanthus is frequently used in commercial landscapes due to its indestructibility. A variety of sizes and colors give you many options for borders, mass plantings or accent plants. ‘Morning Light’ is one of the prettier medium-sized varieties; its fine texture shimmers in the slightest breeze. Very dramatic with good night lighting.
